Angry no boot/ no display for 6 months

Ok. I'm very frustrated. 6 months of trying to fix my rig and nothing. One night it just up and stopped working.

So right now I've got a

Core 2 Duo 1066 FSB 2.8 GHz
DDR2 667 1 GB RAM (2 of these)
Geforce 9600 GT 512MB PCI-Ex16
800 W BFG PSU
500 GB 3gb/s SATA HDD
Asus P5N-MX MOBO

1 Long beep, 2 short. Video failure right?
I've tried 3 different mobos
2 different video cards,
onboard video on each motherboard,
tried different PSU,
different RAM,
and 2 different processors

I've switched out all of that to no avail and I am very VERY frustrated.
Any ideas?:help:

Do you plug the power connector ( I guess a 6 pins ) on the video card ?, did it happen after a BIOS update ?

Yes i did plug the 6 pin into the card
and i havent manually updated the BIOS ever so i doubt that

Right now I tried it with just the PSU, CPU, and CPU Fan connected
and i still get the same beep codes.

try booting with one stick only, in the third slot, after clearing CMOS(Intel debug boot). Try each stick by themselves.

I believe the OP has tried different RAM. There is nothing else to switch out. There is one thing OP did not mention, and that is the cpu fan. Is it spinning before the beeps? Did you put Arctic Silver 5 (or equivalent) on the cpu, and how much did you put on?

Do you have access to another CPU?
