Firefox Won't Remember Anything
 

After installing the new firefox a while ago I have run into the annoying problem of the browser not remember any sort of information (usernames, shopping carts, etc.). I have cookies turned on, accepted from third party sites, and kept until they expire and it still won't remember anything.

Anyone got any ideas?

you probably have some security software that is erasing everything so I would check for that

I've actually had this problem for a while now as well. The closest thing to a solution I ever found was to start using Google Chrome as my primary browser, though I would still definitely be interested in the actual solution.

You have something installed that is clearing out your cache for some reason.

You got crap cleaner loaded
If so see in there.

I don't have anything installed that would clear out the cache (read: no anti-virus). Also, the cache seems to be fine, its just the cookies that appear to be giving me a problem.

Internet Explorer remembers info for me and firefox remembers all my browsing history (still trying to get it to stop after a few days) so I'm not sure if it would be anti-virus. I got NOD32 and AVG Free and I have never had any problems before.

SOLUTION (if anyone cares)

cookies data is corrupted, go to run and run "%APPDATA%, go to Mozilla folder, firefox, profiles, and delete cookies.txt and .sqlt(something weird like that)
