Default Psystar review?

Hey guys.

I was wondering if you were planning on doing a review of any of the Psystar OpenMacs. I'd do one myself but I can't afford it right now.

There are a few people getting review rigs from them, maybe they're open to giving it to some canucks?

Personally, I was hoping MacJunky would come around and do a member review of one. I'll be honest though; reviewing any kind of Mac isn't a priority right now. It isn't that I don't like Macs...I swear.

uh huh ;).

I am not a big fan of them either (and I used one for a long time!). I just figured it'd be nice to see. I want to get my hands on one but for now I must wait.

Well..
1. I already have my own "hackintosh".
2. Psystar is full of crap and is selling what others have worked hard to do in their spare time for free.(also wrongly claims to have made the EFI emulator he uses)
3. How does Psystar expect regular users to use a retail Leopard install DVD if they need to reinstall unless they manually add all the kexts and such to make it work with a regular PC?
4. Psystar is in the wrong for selling computers with "OSx86" installed on them in the first place.
5. OSx86 violates Apple's EULA.(Not that most people care though)
6. You can build a better system for cheaper if you do it yourself.
7. Uhh.. I can't pull any more off the top of my head at the moment.

I am not and will not let psystar get their hands on any of my money or time. I don't trust Psystar and the rest of you should not either.
Also, what about lack of support when Apple sues their asses off like they so enjoy to do? Apple may take their time but it will happen eventually.

mm, and for those wanting to build "hackintoshes", You will generally find the best compatibility with Asus and Gigabyte boards with core based celerons, pentiums, duos, quads, etc. ;)
