Make threads auto-lock after 2-3 months inactivity

Kinda annoying when threads get necro'd when this seems to be an easy thing to do on other boards.

Why? Some new information may come to light that is relevant to the original thread.

Show me one thread active that has allowed any new relevant information to come to light. It is nearly always someone asking a new and unrelated question.

And yet you added nothing useful to that thread. No links and a statement. If you wanted to add anything to that subject, a new thread with links and details would have been useful. This is my point exactly.

I also have to agree, for the reasons stated above. When researching a problem it's nice to have it all in one thread, rather than have that thread quit and resume somewhere else.

Yea I see no point in locking information, besides it's fun necroing threads
