My biggest problem/fears about advertising is that this is the major reason we will see pay-per-site internet in our lifetimes. All the revenue they are watching slip by their hands will get these greedy bigwigs going. Look for television companies to be the first to attempt to cash in on it somehow. Once they get their fingers in internet as we know it will disappear.

I had to ditch my tablet just now because a script here was consistently causing a problem with Firefox (on Android). The browser would appear to crash, and eventually the tablet would ask if I wanted to wait for the script to continue to run or stop the script.

Its not happening on my Firefox Win 7 laptop, with no ad blockers running at all...just crashes the tablet Firefox.

I'm certainly not trying to defend advertising in any way.....I hate it as much as the next person.

...But if it's seamless ads , they don't affect me.I'm a child of the advertising generation , I tune 'em out without a second thought.

It's the script errors that bug me.It falls under the same category as HWC scanning thier frontpage for virii/malicious code.

I find Firefox on the tablet to be a giant steaming pile of you know what. Never got it to run right on any of my tablets, even the Transformer. I blame FF for your problems there.

Full hardlock(I *just* got the taskmanager/printscreen in )......Caused by rolling over that effing ad.Note the crap at the bottom.I get continuous reloading of that script.

100% up to date win 7 pro , 100% up to date IE9 , nod32 , etc....rig in sig.This is the only site I get this from.

Fix yer shit HWC (I know it's not yours prolly but time to complain...) , or I will just run adblockers.
