Post your comments in the forum. We used to get driveby spammers and trolls in the news thread comments. Now, not so much.

Disqus suck in my humble opinion. It also shows that that discussion site doesn't really give two hoots about remaining in contact with i's readers or they'd manage their comments themselves.

I'm not a big fan of it either, but we do have full forum postings available for our news stories here.... Press Releases & Tech News - Hardware Canucks .

I can't say for sure why we went with disqus, but I suspect it had to do with the number of anon trolls / spam we were getting from the main page.
