Animated Avatars

I know this used to work for me and I know it does work as lowfat has one..

Do certain use groups not have this enabled out of curiosity?

From a control panel perspective, there isnt' an enable or disable.
I can remove and add one, but not disable a gif.

Its no big deal.. just something I noticed. Its like as soon as it hits the server the animation is lost.

*Edit - Tried a Gif upload and it didn't work either. Wierd.

I'm guessing once it's uploaded to the server, it captures only the 1st frame in the GIF and nothing more.

Makes sense since animated avatars could get pretty annoying

It's strange that it works for lowfat though. Perhaps his GIF is formatted differently? Or maybe he's had it for a long time before server settings changed?

I found a couple people who have them and yah I'm thinking the same as you.
