I miss that button, I liked thanking people that offered advise and or responded to my posts. Thanks

Sorry to revived this thread but is the thanks button "Dead, Buried and Cremated" or is it going to be resurrected?

Call me old school, but it's not like helpful forum posts must go unthanked in the absence of a special button. Observe:

No, Thank You!

But seriously, if you need a button to thank someone, there is a problem.

It also makes it look like all the other posts that weren't thanked were unwanted or unwarranted. Just not cool man.

No it doesn't jebus. It does help tell people that the threads they are active in are being responded to. And unless you were raised in a barn it's always good to say thank you. People shouldn't always need to type out a post to to say so either. The thankyou button also adds to a users reputation. Not saying thankyou doesn't hurt anyones e-feelers but it might help them write better posts.

Oh and really... saying thank you SHOULD be easy.
