I don't mind the thanks button.. what I don't like is underneath the thread/posts all you see is " blah blah and blah thanked"

That is annoying. Why not just have it say "5 people thanked" for this post.

Hmm I also just noticed now that it also shows the "Thanks" info in our info bar.. This is also increasing the height of this making even more padding of useless info on a page! :P

I think Gav should make the font for the thank section under each post a bit smaller.
And yea, remove the header and tack something small onto the end of the list of names.

liike:
User, MoarUser, Randomguy, Per'smom, Thank <poster> for this post.

Also, Enab, in the case of your info thingy, there is not really any wasted space when compared with before. It is mostly just us with our rig specs menus and/or small avatars.
http://poopr.org/images/s5bolzdydwpcsrtz0x1.png <- this is how I see the forum
(yes I did change my system fonts, Lucida Console ftw) (monospaced fonts are how one needs to roll!) (also, if you change your system fonts you notice that microsoft's sites use whatever font you are using :D )

Why do we have to know that a user have been thanked or a post have been? This kinda come close to the reputation that was debated not so long ago and every one rejected no?

We could also make good use of a thanks but no thanks button or a obvious troll is obvious for some of our forum member
