Wink Quick links - add My posts :)

Hi guys.

Maybe - maybe you can consider adding the My posts ino the Quick Links menu. It it VERY handy to find the threads where I posted and perhaps it save a little on the server load too, because I did not need to use the search then

Okay, it probably do the search as well by calling the function, but at least easy name search and do not inicialize the whole "heavy" search - perhaps

Or search is just search... nevermind.

But pls consider it. It should not bite...

We will definitely get this feature added, although it's near the bottom of our big list of things to do, so you'll have to be patient.

ya many forums have the 'my posts' button and I love it. I always get upset when I can't find the post I just created yesterday, and I have to search for it specifically.

Wink

I usually go and search for member nick and put my own ... and then I see my posts/threads ... However maybe the feature cause less server load, so, it might be beneficial for speed reasons too

Quick links / Your Profile / Statistics (scroll down..... :) ).

edit: it only shows the last 100 which is also the default limit for "new posts" so I'm guessing 100 is set in the forum software. (If you want more, you'll have to do a search).

This is one thing vBulletin never had, and always refuse to add. I miss other forum's features like SimpleMachines Forums' "Show unread posts since last visit." and "Show new replies to your posts." links that are easily accessible on every page.

An alternative is to use thread subscription.

To activate this feature: UserCP -> Edit Options -> Default Thread Subscription Mode -> select anything other than "Do not subscribe".

From then on, all new replies to the topics where you participate in will be shown in your UserCP.
