Default Revisiting the user rank categories

List of User Ranks

  • Rookie >50 Posts
  • Top Prospect - 50 Posts
  • MVP - 250
  • Allstar - 500 Posts
  • Hall Of Fame - 1000 Posts
The issues here are that 1) a hockey player is a prospect before they are a rookie, and 2) the MVP ought to be ranked higher than the All-Star. This is all the more atrocious an affront to the user rank categories now that Phil Kessel was an All-Star this year.

I suggest replacing "Top Prospect" with "Veteran" and switching the MVP and All-Star categories as follows:
  • Rookie - <50 Posts
  • Veteran - 50 Posts
  • Allstar - 250 Posts
  • MVP - 500 Posts
  • Hall Of Fame - 1000 Posts
While I acknowledge that this registers quite low on the list of priorities I'm sure, I can honestly say that this is something that has consistently offended my oh-so fragile sense of hockey hierarchy since I joined HWC.

I have thrown down my glove and I demand satisfaction!

Keep it up and we'll send you back to the minors

Also, who says it's hockey. Very well could be the appropriate ranks for full contact tiddlywinks

you become "Retired" before Hall of Fame. Should we add a rank?

Also, there are very few players in the Hall of Fame, so you could up the post count for that one

There should be another rank for Gretzky/Orr/Richarde class players.

Ummmmm...... I'm guessing that mod post count levels would have to be something like "long dead"?????? ;)

The ranks do not matter and making them matter a lot will just cause problems.

Oh, Lord knows this has nothing to do with making anything matter!
