App for IOS and Andriod...

Hardwarecanucks should make a APP for Apples Appstore and Androids Market Place.

And what should this app do?

Well does anyone here know how to make an app for those systems? A hardware canucks app, could be reformatted to be easier to read on mobile devices, include price compare hotlinks, links to youtube reviews that's about it to start. I'm not sure how that would translate into a portable unit but there maybe some utility especially with the price compare feature if that could be paired with a UPC code reader.

The best idea in my opinion would be for HWC to make a HTML5 mobile version of the site. This way it is cross compliant without having to code apps for each individual device and would work on almost all major handheld devices. While its no small undertaking it could be interesting.

We have been working on becoming mobile friendly for quite some time now. Unfortunately, there is still a bit before it launches as we want to be able to offer a relatively well polished solution for as many people as possible all at once, rather than implementing it piece by piece.

There will likely be some more updates after the New Year.
Don't worry, when it comes, you will definitely hear about it :thumb:

Perhaps also support Tapatalk? Apparently the plugin is free for forum owners.

I haven't gotten around to trying it on my Galaxy S though. I can browse the full site pretty decently anyways.
