Im sure there are more then a couple of folks here that have some of the original " fanless cooling solution " processors like 386;486, P-I,
ISA and or Pci boards with discrete component sound and telecommunications cards.
I was thinking that an area in the forum for discussing the resurrection and performance specs of the oldest machines that we can glue together.
A place where old driver links, How-To's, and pictures of the machines could be grouped in one knowledge base.
I presently have a Intel Blue Lighting DX2 chip that I would enjoy seeing the Pi ran on if I could get a handle on the older setups.

I might poke around seeing as how my 6 PCs are 1x 286, 2x 386, 2x PI, 1x PII. Also, it is not really all that hard to get your hands on a PI or something to play around with if any of you others with only newer hardware want to join in on the fun.
