Default Best Answer

Hey admins/mods,

it would be best if we have Best Answer (post) in a thread?

Sometimes there is no best answer as a lot of hardware choices are based on personal favourites/opinions. Myself i'll typically either go with a consensus, listen to someone i consider an 'expert' on the subject, or do some extra reading on my own.

Well would be nice to have a button that could replace the ever +1 post to reduce the number of useless comment in the same thread??? no???

The useless comment types will do them in any case. Many forms of that.
The "best answer" bs is just that, bs. In most cases, there is no best answer. Reminds me of the
rating system thread, why would anyone want it? Yet another point to squabble over for those
inclined to do that?

Hang on a sec. +1 <- That's the first time I've ever typed that. Doesn't do anything for me.

I don't see any reason to have something like this. HWC is primarily a discussion forum, not a Q&A.

HWC should have some sort of auto censoring program to filter out the foul words that are sometimes used here. Then simply add +1 to that list of censored words.

I'd rather look at a useless ** response than a useless +1 response, lol!
