Jobs/Employment section?
 

Just wondering what everyone would think about trying a jobs section. Members that are looking for work could post there or employers looking for a "Dam good" employee could search that section. Might help for people looking to find a better job... or just a job period.

This idea crossed my mind too. I think it worth trying even if it helps a single HWC member.

We could have a subforum open to it, however the posters would have to be members that know that there's opportunities available for the HWC community.

Highly unlikely though.

That would certainly lead to an interesting dynamic around here; if I were thinking of hiring someone, I would start searching through their post history and determining if they were mature, polite, and good problem-solvers. Every post would become some type of job interview material (at least for those who are/or might use the service).

This could be good, as it will act as a type of control on rude posts; it could also result in folks knowing too much about each other on here, and other types of drama we don't see often right now.

I fail to see a point but we'll see where this thread heads.

Not all of us have happy fuzzy jobs and never have to worry about it again....:sad:

I think it may be a rather good idea, i have had the idea cross my mind on a few occasions to see if someone can do a great cable management job for me since mine is atrocious.
