My job isn't affected by any of the above. Plus, the freedom of information and protection of privacy act requires that we keep our records for at least 1 year, but our policy is at least 2 for important records.

I find that if you go to the very last page of your inbox and sent box, and delete everything there, it's fine. You end up not loosing too much, and you always end up with 300 PMs.

BAH!!!!! Hit the limit again, only took a month this time, and this time, deleting my sent messages isn't going to work!

on another forum i am on it allows you to save your PMs to a file on your computer.

What flirting? I didn't get 350 PM's all in one month , I'm not that popular! Rather that every time I do come cleaning, deleting redundant reply messages(ones with nested quotes), I am getting less and less "freed up" space each time.

Oh, you can save your PM's on here into an XML file as well, I'd just rather not to as there is no simple way that I know of the read+search them.

Ultimately, G-Mail has me spoiled, I'm so usedto the fact that I never have to delete anything ever again thanks to their service!
