i think most people here underestimate how large the HWC reader base is. Sure we don't have a lot of frequent posters. But there are always hundreds of guests viewing. It doesn't surprise me that the reviews are reaching far and wide.

Agreed, kinda sad thou, I always see the counter as "14 members online, 734 guests". Too many lurkers. We need to get them signing up and POSTING!

Well, considering there's a prominent link on NCIX and also, for some odd reason, the "community forum" on DirectCanada is actually this forum.

We used to get linked by L'inq quite regularly, but they're a little tempermental that way- they seem to like very short reviews over there. They make no qualms about admitting that brain-candy is their thing. It was pretty exciting in the early day when one of your reviews got linked by them or [H] and suddenly our normal wee-little user-base of 25 people jumped up to 150 people online. We're definitely getting more readership as time goes on.

HWC can thank Direct Canada its what led me to this Canadian website. At first I chuckled a little to see that their community forum was well an entirely different website and like many I was a lurker for a number of months. It only made sense to join and I wish more would I've met a lot of cool people, made friends and its a great place to chat about hardware and have people share in the same excitement and enthusiasm as I do.

Actually it involved some tears and me shouting "finally people that understand me!!"

LOL- well I'm glad you joined!

It would be nice if more people joined, but too big isn't great either. I hope this place is never the kind of forum where you can't fit a question in edge-wise because gets instantly buried in dozens of new posts and threads every minute.
