Default HWC website stresses my work system

Hehehe, I thought I should point this out as it is kinda funny. The Gskill banner stresses my system haha. Its a E6300 with 2GB RAM, and a X1550 256mb GPU, yet somehow the Gskill banner is too much! 25% CPU usuage is a little high!

I actually disable ad blocking on HWC because it is one of the few sites I like to support. Then again, it's hard to notice 100% core usage when that means it peaks at 12%.

Vortex out of curiosity, why do you have so many iexplore sessions open, I spot like 5 right there.. And then you got Word taking 90k, I think its eating too much, I've seen a max of 70k on Word 2003, so 90k..

But I got to agree, firefox also slows down on hwc for me too, too many banners lately.

But seriously...An interesting concept....

Incorporate "How Many HWC Pages can be loaded simultaneously" - I imagine it would be a great Multi-Core system test

To those who feel like the 1 or 2 ads or overwhelming, need take a meander to a few other review websites
*cough* Tom's *cough* Anandtech *cough*... ack something in the throat

I take it, those of you who think a single ad or maybe 2 ads per page is a lot, obviously havn't been to most other review websites...
*cough* Tom's *cough*
*cough* entire site is an ad *cough*

Hehe. I usually have 6 open. 4 for my ERP system, 1 for my Microsoft software licensing site, and another for the Kingston memory configurator. 2 screens is definitely needed for my job. Maybe 3.

I require 7 IE pages open. Out of the 7, 3 of them are running java applets. If you want to talk about slow. The system we have at work are P4 2.6GHz running 1GB of ram.
