Since he was the winner of the GTX 260, I assume someone has all his details (full name, address and such). I'm mainly skeptical because of this... and the wierd post. But if it is true, I offer my condolences as well.

To those who know his full name, do a search for his obituary,

edit: just to add that if this is all true, it would be expecially sad, see note below:

She will probably use this for internet surfing and homework but also enjoys music videos will these play music videos and movies. Are these a decent quality or a waste of money. and how is Acer customer support and warranty. Any feedback appreciated as I am a little skeptical of Acer, or any other suggestions in the same price range would be great.
ps. Conky was his cats name, so did he die or the cat?

Wow. I remember reading his post about helping people out with computers and thinking he sounded like a great guy.

Too bad.

Woah ... that post was one of the first I read when I joined this forum, at the time I thought it was weird. I just figured I missed something. But as others have said, condolences go out to his family.

So sorry for the family. Looking at the posts in this thread he was a great guy.

As 3.0 pointed out, folding is a great way to honour those by helping to find a cure.
