You see the whole point in using hwbot is to track scores properly, also the fact that some of the utilities like superpi needing screenshots at hwbot, we don't use the ranking points, we use the actual score, but prefer to use hwbot since it is much easier to keep the scores safe.
If you guys read the rules, it is pretty self explanatory.. I've known the creater of this competition for a while now. The Raptors Pit is his forum, he is a very nice individual.
Basically the thing you do is, either use whatever hardware you have or get something better and flat out Overclock the piece of crap out of the system, run the benchmarks. Lots of us what we do is even though the system isn't all stable when you overclock your system, as long as you can successfully run those benchmarks, you're good. And you don't have to run all benchmarks at one overclocked speed, you can have different GHz for every single benchmark. Only downside is most benchmark software suit XP more than Vista.
I did mention this to few people here.. usually via PM when we're just chatting, but got no response. But we definitely have 18 players, who can overclock madly lol.
Read this rules page..
Forum Wars - The Ultimate Team Sport pretty self explanatory. I might be able answer some questions since I've been in a few of these wars, if not I can direct somewhere you can.
