Default Pioneer Blu-Ray burner for PC at $300.00

The drive can play standard Blu-ray movies, which will make it a good pairing with a new Radeon or GeForce card to support hardware H.264 decoding. It can also play back and record BD-R and BD-RE discs (both single and dual layer).
Finally getting into a more realistic price. Single layer disk holds 25gb
They are supposed to be out in May.

I wouldn't mind one of these doing backups.

Problem is, its a Blu-ray player not a burner.
Seems it can only burn dvd and cd.
too bad.
But its seems prices are coming down.
