Angry Burners not reading DVD-R

I recently bought some Color Research DVD-R discs from Tiger Direct for price only. Neither my Samsung SE-208AB external drive, nor my internal burner on the Acer, will recognize the discs. They are both set for -R discs and I'm using Nero. Is there another software I could be using that will recognize these discs? I'd hate to have to sit on 200 of these things if they're useless. I have no problem with the +Rs. I can't even burn data on these.

1) What does Windows see your drive as in "My Computer"?
2) Try ImgBurn.

Ahh so this was a minor software issue. Youd think companys that been in burning backup business for this long would have this kinda thing already coded into app.

You'd think that, but I still can't get burning to work natively under win7..... ;)

I have never had ANY issues burning discs. Mind you I buy quality stuff not junk. Ridata is probably one of the best companies for good media.

And Verbatim for dual layer.
