Default New ssd kaput?

Trying to install a new adata ssd as an OS drive but having nothing but grief. I cannot access it to clean it or use it in any way. I can see it in disc management but cannot do a damn thing with it. Any advice before I rma?

If Win / Linux can't install, usually not a good sign. Can you format in Disc Management, and copy some files over?

Nope, no access, nada. Every attempt has failed. Diskpart, Acronis, Gparted.........

I seem to go through SSDs faster ( allot faster) then harddrives which is why I don't like them I have only been through two harddrives in 9 years I have been through 3 SSDs in less then two years and they alkl were different makes

So far my hdd failures are worse than my ssd failures. Thankfully I purchased extra coverage.

Stoanee, sounds like what happened to my intel SSD this past summer. I was right in assuming it was dead as intel accepted the RMA and sent me a fixed one.
