How to Clean HDD? How to migrate data quickly?

Might sell my 2.5" and 3.5" HDD and just pick up one large 2TB or 3TB instead. How should I clean my HDD to ensure no one can steal whatever data I got? No there's no porn or anything, but just wondering. Only thing I can think of is to use Acronis, which I believe has a data destruction app.

As for migrating data from the two HDDs into one big HDD, how should I do that as well? I've always just copied and pasted in Windows Explorer.

1. Darik's Boot and Nuke Darik's Boot And Nuke | Hard Drive Disk Wipe and Data Clearing Warning: this will wipe ALL hard drives connected to the computer.

2. Teracopy for just copying files.

WipeDisk is my favourite app for zeroing out hard drives. It's free, small, is a standalone, and you can choose whatever drive you want to wipe. WipeDisk - Erase disks secure and fast
