800 gig intel pcie around $3000 bucks u use that for your d drive nice. Me I still think raid0 is better than one drive 500 vs 1000 speeds. Now in real life your right is hard to notice but is still twice as fast as one. If I was buying new today would do 2 256 drives though, than 2-128 I have now. My son has my older ocz raid pcie card, there fast but no trim on them i believe. That intel is a bootable drive or just storage? SSD has been around along time but just used for server storage drives as they were not bootable, so we never really heard about them in pc's. Am always up for getting schooled though if there is something I am missing. Maybe hdtack is getting to old a benchmark to use now adays.

Trust me on this...as this is what I use as my 'App' drive (with an Intel 910 800GB PCIE SSD for the 'd' game drive).
You have way too much resources for your storage lol (jealous much)
