Drivers ? we talk about a NAS, as long as the HD and NIC work on it , you are ok. I have 2 here working flawless since 2 years.

Yes getting the HD controller and NIC working are key, a bit of research before purchasing hardware should guarantee that. There are times I wish the USB3 would work too.
