My System Specs

Default

First OS I tried was Windows Home Server 2011 and it's worked alright. However, opening the dashboard took incredibly long times and bootup was slow. Also, accessing the database was typical but I wanted a speed up there. The MB of the server only has SATA2 but there was a marked increase in performance in all aspects with an Intel 330 SSD.

All the actual data is stored on a HDD based RAID6 on a Adaptec 31605 which for the most part seems to be trouble free.
