RAID compatable?
I've got a bunch of questions:
1.i have an asus P8B75-V, Socket-1155 motherboard and i was wondering if it is raid campatable. i am thinking about getting two 64 gb ssd's to put in raid 0 for crazy R/W speed. my budget is quite restricted so 64 gb is all i can afford. each drive has 490 mb/s read and 240 mb/s write.
2. if i have 2 ssd's in raid 0, can i back them up with one or two additionel drives in raid 1? and if so, will a old, slow hdd slow the R/W speed down to it's own speed? i want them to cooperate with eachother like in raid 10.
3. if my motherboard isn't compadable, will a dedecated pci raid card do the trick?
4. im hoping that i can achieve raid 10 on my pc but the the raid card that's available to me right now says in the description that it only handels raid 1 and 0. so how do i setup raid 10? i have 2 old hdd's which i was hoping to use as backups drives for the raid 0 ssd array.
answres are much appreciated.
