Micron / Crucial Launch New M500 SSDs, 960GB for under $600

Combining high performance at a reasonable cost, you’ll be able to find an M500 960GB for under $600.

By utilizing 20nm Micron MLC NAND technology and Marvell’s new 88SS9187-BLD2 controller, Crucial’s newest SSD line –the M500- may not be the fastest available but its performance is still top notch and it will certainly appeal to anyone that hasn’t jumped on the SSD bandwagon yet. We can expect to see the M500 hit the retail market sometime in the next two months or so.

Hrmm a good sale on this would probably get me to bite. I don't need the top end speed, I'm stuck on HD now as it is. So 400 to 500megs/sec is pretty damn fast compared to what I've got.
