I need help with a decision. I'll get right to the point. I tried to do a search to find some info on the Intel 520 240 GB SSD and came up with way too much info for me to digest and understand. I'm thinking it's a good drive and I can get one for 219.99. Is this a good drive (I have a X25-M 80 GB. for my OS now and I like it but it's getting small). Is 219.99 a good price? Thanks I appreciate any feed back. Jim |
It's a damn good drive, I have one. And that's a very good price for it. |
Thanks for the reply. I'm going to go for it! |
I have the 120g 520 drive and it rocks, |
My Fujitsu P770 12.1" laptop now has an Intel 520 480Gb boot drive and an Intel 330 series 240GB as a data drive. So far, very nice! Have not been running them long enough to know how battery life wil l be effected. The two replace a WD 750Gb Black drive, which is pretty power efficient.... |
ya is a good price for a 240 gb ssd for sure, been looking at the new vectors but he price of 2 scares me a little  |
Thanks for all the feedback. I couldn't resist going for the 240 GB because it was on sale and only 10 bucks more than the 180 GB. I have an 80 GB X25-M now and I think it's great but I like to keep lots of free space on my OS drive and the 80 has me not wanting to load some of the things I want to play with. I really only needed the 180 and that would have been plenty big enough but..... Jim |
On another subject I was looking at the 180 GB and found two models. What's the difference? SSDSC2CW180A3B5 VS SSDSC2CW180A3K5 Jim |
Probably batches. Only difference is the second last character in what you typed out. SSDSC2CT are 330 series SSDSC2CW are 520 series |
