WD Red WD30EFRX (3TB Reds) failures?

I ask because I was over at the egg (reading customer reviews) and was shocked at the 3 out of 5 rating. Seems to be an unnerving amount of failed drives when you go to the egg.

I ask because I have 6 of these drives...and knock on wood----- they've been running well. So far I am very happy with them.

Anyone having/had any issues with them?

I try and take Egg reviews with a Grain of Salt.

Personally speaking I haven't heard up here at least of many problesm with those drives.

Weren't most of those issues related to the early batches?

I couldn't agree more with you on the Newegg reviews, however having previously ordered several drives from Newegg, sometimes the packaging of the drives is terrible.
