My System Specs

Default Best SSD for ~$250
Hey guys,

I'm looking to get an SSD for my laptop for around $250...and wait around for black friday for a nice sale. It has to be SATA II. I'm looking for something in the 240GB or 256GB range, give or take. I'm not too concerned about performance but I want to see a difference! Thanks for helping me out.

Edit: would a SATA III drive work on a II connector?

Yes, all SSD's are backward compatible so feel free to buy the latest and greatest now. You will not reach the performance of a SATA 3 drive on the SATA 2 port, but it will easily saturate the controller at @250 Mbps.
