Win 8 & Intel Tool Box
 

Using Intel SSD 520/120gb.
Ran the data migration tool from Intel and transferred OS win 8 from platter HD to SSD above

Does Win 8 need Intel tool box?

Tried to install it but won't

So run in compatibility mode, command line or wait till Intel releases a newer version than 3.03 or do nothing?:doh:

Your problem is obvious.... your using windows 8...


Being serious though, I wouldn't even think of using a windows OS till it's released at least a year..

I got it to work finally.
right click the toolbox ex and select properties then set compatibility to windows 7
and it works fine.
Got '8 humming along except for brother printer drivers that is a no go so far.
Might as well "learn" the new os but I still prefer '7.
