missing space on my ssd?
I already disable file paging and turned hibernate off, I wonder where this space is hiding?
What space are you looking for? A formatted 120 SSD works out to 111 GB. Have you installed any apps, or games?
Some other graphical software to view data; WinDirStat, Disktective
Considering you have windows 7 on that machine it doesn't look like you are missing anything. The standard size your ssd will be after formatting would be 111GB as mentioned above.
That said the Tree Size program that enaberif mentioned is very good for finding where space is being used.
is system restore on?
that will take some space.
Thank you all for the reply.
I don't know if I'm reading this http://i84.photobucket.com/albums/k28/kapow1/disk.jpg properly but I think I'm missing some 2 to 8 gigs of space?
If its your primary some space is set aside no?
I think I just found the missing space;
You could use a program called SpaceSniffer link . It will show you everything you have on the drive and there sizes etc.
Run Directory Report in administrator mode
Directory printer, find duplicate files, rename files, show folder size, and maintain your files - all in 1 tool
That way it can find hidden files
