SSD Issue - Rather slow Boot Load Times My intel 320 went kablooey and got a replacement in. Here is the problem - It is taking the same amount to load from the SSD as it does a normal HDD. I have the controller set to ACHI etc. I have it set to the correct SATA port. Any idea's on the issue? Motherboard - GA-P55-USB3 (latest release BIOS) CPU - Intel i5-750 OC'd 3.4 Ghz |
are you able to tun some benchmarks to measure the speed? crystaldisk mark is one, and maybe get something to scan the drive for integrity. |
also check your chipset drivers are up to date for your hardware |

Post ur SMART readout, could be bad SATA cable or SATA host causing retries and lower perf. What does AS SSD and Windows Experience Index say for the SSD score? |
