Default Seagate Momentus 750GB 2.5" Hybrid Drive

Hey guys, I was wondering if anyone has ever had an experience with this hard drive ? I am looking into this hard drive for my laptop. I do need the 750GB amount of space so going SSD isn't a choice for me right now. I want to get some opinions before I buy it, maybe there is something better or similar for cheaper? I have never worked with one of these hybrid drives before.

I've been running the 500 GB model for a month and I agree. So far so good.

They are tailor made for laptops or other builds where you are limited to one drive, and need more space than an SSD can provide in affordable manner.

I run a gen1 500gb with zero complaints.

I had both the 500gb and the 750GB. Both are excellent drives.
