SD card question (for photographers?) Just got a little camera for an up coming vacation so we don't have to carry around the bulky DSLR everywhere. FWIW I p/u a canon elph 300hs and I've only played with it a bit but can't believe this was $160.... Gotta love technology! Anyway I need an SD card for it. Looking at prices I was thinking on getting a 32GB and there's lots of them out there. Most around the $30ish mark (class 10's) but they can get over $100 which seems ridiculous. But it makes me question what the difference is. As long as I get a card from a reputable manufacturer like Kingston or Lexar for example, is there any real tangible difference between them? Thanks, Ryan |
Its mostly the Class of the card. For small point and shoot just get the cheapest you can find. Class really makes a difference in DSLR when your shooting RAW. |
