Purchasing SSD first time!

Hi guyz,
As m not in budget for purchasing 520 Series or Vertex 3 SSD, but I wanna try it. As in my country, on cheapest rate available is Corsair Force 3 60GB. As I heard that cheap SSD fails quicker but I wanna try this as only for boot, large programs and games and all data is on other HDD.

So as price point, I dont know this will be good but tell me that will it spend atleast a year with once installed OS?

Thanks!

A 60 Gb drive will fill up fast with an OS and games on it. What about someething with a little bigger capacity such as a crucial M4

Depend how many game you want to put on it...

My windows 7 optimized partition is 41gb with all my program + bf3 and tribes (almost 20gb by themselves).

I would go with a 64gb m4, in fact, I am just waiting for the guy at my job to get back to ask him if he can get me a good price to buy one.

just for boot I need and I play one game at a time so 60GB will be enough or I should go for 80GB?

Answer that yourself by looking at your game folder size and comparing with my size without game (around 22gb).

i recommend 80gb rather than 60gb just to be on the safe side...
Windows 7 Ultimate takes a huge chunk on my SSD . XD

Win 7 ultimate takes a lot of space especially if you install all the updates, and especially if you apply SP1. You can go without SP1 there is gonna be no real difference for games. Win 7 can be installed fine even on 30GB SSD but no games. personally I have a 60GB Mushkin Chronos with NFSHP 2010 which is aroung 8GB in size and there is plenty of space left, around 20GB.
