Question Folding@home - Log File and SSD use

I'm not sure if this is the correct place in the forums to ask this question, if it belongs in the folding forum I appologize and please move it.
I decided to start folding on my system again, and my primary drive is an OCZ SSD Vertex 2 drive. I noticed that the log file that V6.23 of the folding install was installed to C:\users directory. The log file writes to the drive a fair amount at the default settings. Will this reduce the life expectancy of my SSD.

Reduce the life? Yes. Will it kill the SSD? No. My main bigadv folder uses an old X25M for the past year, and it still runs great.
