Making the jump from Caching, to Raid-0

Hey guys, long time HC reader but first poster here.

I have a crucial c300 64gb that I am currently using for caching and I plan on buying two more, and using them in a raid array. I have a few questions that my research didn't quite clarify.

• How do I uninstall Intel smart response caching, and prepare my drives to start a raid array
• Will uninstalling the caching software prevent me from booting
• How do I configure a raid-0 array with 3 ssd's

If anyone has suggestions I'd really appreciate tips!

just disable the acceleration in the intel management app and you are good to go

Thanks joe, any idea on how i would configure raid-0 in my bios? and how to wipe the ssd

There should be a disk management option in your bios, it really depends on which motherboard/manufacturer you have you can look up a guide based on your motherboard. I wouldnt worry about wiping your drive, when you setup the raid 0 array it will do it for you.

Once you disable the caching, right click on the SSD drive in the intel management console.. i don't remember the exact option, but it will be like "return to normal" or something to that effect.. it will wipe the SSD so you can use it like normal
