Start up programs not starting
 

Hello

My computer was working fine last night,when I turned it on this morning my start up programs were not starting up (not all of them atleast) and some of my windows icons on the task bar (like the internet connection icon) would freeze. Sometimes my mouse wont work but power is going through it ( its glowing ) and the Windows start menu would not respond to my mouse but would open through the keyboard windows button.

I'm wondering if this is a Windows issue or a hardware/Harddrive issue. My specsare

GTX 570
OCZ Vertex+ 60GB SSD (OS)
1TB WD Black
8GB ripjaws GDDR3 1600mhz
P8P67 ASUS mobo

worm virus? I've seen them do this before. Boot into safe mode with networking and try to get a copy of antivirus on there. nod32, malwarebytes and/or Windows security essentials. All 3 will run and nuke virii from safe mode.

I would check in the task manager to see what was running , you just my be updating something on your PC
