Default Need Hard Drive Help ASAP

These deals that I can get with the help of my friend don't last long so please respond asap.

I can wait an aweful week and a half for my new computer to play games and get: Seagate ST31000524AS Barracuda Hard Drive - 1TB, SATA 6Gbps, 7200 RPM, 32MB at TigerDirect.com

or I can use my $90 gift card to Best Buy and get one of these for the cheap prices I have listed. Thoughts?

Western Digital - 320GB Internal Hard Drive for Desktops - WDBAAX3200ENC-NRSN $63

Seagate - Momentus 500GB Internal Serial ATA Hard Drive for Laptops - ST905003N3A1AS-RK $81

I'd grab the 1tb fromtigerdirect & get the 320 from bestbuy if it was me since one is cash and one is gift card.

but i guess it also kinda depends on what uve got now. if I had to choose one I'd probably grab the 1tb

if you don't need the full 1tb the 500gb would work but when i see that the 500g is $81 and the 1tb is only $19 more it makes me think it wouldn't be wise to skimp.

Hmmm, well, here is the issue, the $90 i have going to bestbuy will either go to best buy as $90 or get sold on ebay for $72 (after all charges)... so idk... does a 6gbps drive on sata3 go faster than a 3gbps drive?

- Not when you're talking about hard drives

The only benefit you may have is the useless "burst speed" benchmark. You just don't get much gain when hard drive sustained read speeds top out at ~180 MB/s or 1440Mb/s, still less than half of what a SATA 3gbps is capable of.

I'd get one of the 3.5" drives, as you will notice a difference over the 2.5" in game loading speeds for large maps and such, as 2.5" drives have slower sustained read/write compared to 3.5" drives. My vote is for the 1TB Seagate and get something else at Best Buy.

If you don't care about warranty you can also try buying an external drive from Best Buy and rip the drive out of it:
Samsung - 1TB External USB 2.0 Hard Drive - HX-DU010EC/BB2
(note all warranty is down the drain when the drive leaves the enclosure or when the little piece of tape is cut)

I'm also tempted just to get this:

Newegg.com - OCZ Agility 3 AGT3-25SAT3-90G 2.5" 90GB SATA III MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD)

i hate spending so much money on a platter drive.

actually im most tempted to go for the 320gb $63 deal because i dont need that much space =p... is it really any slower than the 1tb seagate?

what about this:

Western Digital - 320GB Internal Parallel ATA Hard Drive for Desktops - WDBAAV3200ENC-NRSN
