Default HD partition organization without formatting

I want to reorganize the partitioning on my HDD.
Years ago I used partition expert or magic 2003.
What software would I use now? any recommendations?

thanks

If you're running Windows Vista/7, the built in disk manager utility can do it.

Otherwise there are plenty of freeware options and Linux distros capable of this. Easeus is one that works in Windows, UBCD has a few Linux based utilities that work as well.

But as always, backup anything important before moving partitions - just in case.

The built in manager is crap though. Easeus has the best free solution.

And for paid solutions, Acronis Disk Director 11 works great.

I use Parted Magic, linux based, but works on any HDD or SDD. Has 32 or 64 bit versions.
