Default WD Caviar Black sata 3 6.0gb/s possible on raid0 ?

WD Caviar Black sata 3 6.0gb/s possible on raid0 ?
Hi, I saw Your video about WD Caviar Black on sata 3, I try third day by now to install both of them on Asus Rampage III Formula on Raid0. Is this possible ?

On my motherboard I've got only 2 ports compatable with 6.0GB/s and I connect these two disks at this ports. I can't run Intel Matrix Storage Manager by ctrl+I durning POST.

What can I do? It is possible to run them on 6.0GB/s on raid0 ?

I do one virtual disk on stripe 64kb by Marvell 9128. Can I do it faster? What is Drive Xpert and his super speed option ? If I use that it will be run faster?

It should be possible, but I honestly don't see why you would worry about using SATA3 vs SATA2 for this. It will not make a difference to performance at all.

On internet i read about raid0 and I was thinking like that:

1 hdd - normal speed
2 identical hdd on raid0 - speed x 2 (Stripe 128kb)
2 identical hdd on raid0 by asus matrix storage - speed x 4

but i'm not sure it is true.

anyway many thanks for answer!

RAID SATA6 is only on the Marvel controller, not the Intel controller. You need to use the Marvel driver, and make sure the Marvel ports are enabled in bios. Yes, your WD Blacks support RAID0, I am using them in that configuration myself.
