Default Must have done something wrong installing SSD

I installed a Crucial M4 128GB SSD. Before installing my windows, I unplugged my mechanical hard drive. Installed Win 7 on the SSD. Everything went well. Once installation was completed, I updated some drivers and plugged the HDD back in. So now every time I start my PC, I get this (see attached photo). What did I do wrong and what should I do?

Yes it does but I don't think I am supposed to see this at boot, am I?

Also, I think I need to switch the sata controller to AHCI, instead of RAID, right? But doing that my windows doesn't boot. Although I did read that I am supposed to set it to AHCI before installing my OS. I'll try that and see if it works.

Look at the boot order before messing with AHCI settings. Is the SSD set to boot first? Will the system boot with the SSD only?
The clue here was that things stopped working with the hard drive was plugged in.

Yes and yes, the SSD is set to boot first and it does boot when the SSD is the only drive plugged in. When the controller is set to RAID, it boots up and I see this screen. When I set the controller to AHCI, it boots but "crashes" right when the windows logo starts appearing. Then it just restarts itself.

Looks like you set the sata controller to RAID before installing windows. You'll have to set it to AHCI and then reinstall windows.
