Default is this normal for corsair f3 ssd?

Hi all,

I am not sure if this is supposed to show these numbers? I have updated all the drivers and I have the drive plugged into sata 3, but average transfer rate is 187?

I have the same SSD so..

First, I'd check to see if your controller is set to ACHI Mode.

IF NOT IN ACHI MODE, DO NOT CHANGE IT YET
Look for an online tutorial of how to change IDE to ACHI
If you change it without preliminary preparation, you WILL BSOD on boot

Then, I'd disable the C3 and C6 states of the CPU (not C1E)
Many reports of these CPU states making the hard drive numbers all wonky

Then check if there is any difference

UPDATE: I just did that test myself, and I'm receiving pretty much the same numbers as you (assuming your running that as your OS drive).
But for me its a little different. See when your SDD jumps to 400 and stays there for abit? Mine stays there twice as long, but it's near the end of the test unlike yours which is at the beginning. Mine also is at 425-450 when that happens.

And when its not up there, mine shows it hovering around 200-250
