Anyone have a working Force 3 120GB SSD?

I read about the problems with the serial numbers = 1122 or less, and I have just bought a 1124.
Have not tested yet.

BUT i still hear about BSOD's and freezing in the corsair forums with even the new replacement drives, like ALOT of them.

So i was wondering, is this just problems by manufacturer? Or is it all just sandforce based?
My previous thread about OCZ SSD's were about the same problems. Anywho..

#1 - What is your Force 3 120GB SN model?

#3 - If not, what problems do you experience?
#4 - is your system Intel or AMD?

Mine is a 1132 and runs just fine. It's not my boot drive though, just running games and stuff off it.

Corsair had hardware issues with the early drives, 1121 and 1122 -- Corsair Force 3 SSD Issues? READ ME FIRST PLEASE - The Corsair Support Forums.

The Sandforce issues were not corrected by the recall and hardware redesign, unfortunately, since they're evidently due to who-knows-what in the controller and not specific to any drive manufacturer.

I had a 1124 force 3, and I get a BSOD every 2-3 days, then UEFI would not detect it, gotta unplug power, reset to see it again.. really annoying and just returned it and got a refund. From what I've read online, it mostly has to do with the SF 2281 controller, because it's not just a Corsair problem but OCZ, and other companies too, although to different degrees. I ended up buying a Crucial m4, updated to firmware 0009 and it has been running beautifully for months now, I can't be happier.

Could you also add a #4 - is your system Intel or AMD?

I don't know if it is just me but it seems like Intel based mobos owners seem to have more issues with the BSOD, could be a skewed perception due to the fact that there is more Intel based systems, but I think it still would be an interesting detail.
