My System Specs

Default Is my hard drive going to die?

I did a error scan last night, and I also get a "1 bad sector message under the health tab"

says I got one damaged sector, what should I do, is the world going to end?!?

You can continue to use it. That sector will just be marked as bad and won't be used again.

The problem is though, there is a bigger chance it will get worst. If it were me, I would backup all my data and replace it.

I also got a drive with 52k load cycles, damn. Also yeah my 2TB drive I had is dead now, shame I never had the chance to back it up :(

Oh yeah and I had a BSOD last night...I'm wondering if it might of been from this.

in my experience, bad sectors tend to spread more often than not.

If I do a quick scan it comes out good, doesn't show the bad sector. Whats to believe?
