Default Hiding Cache Partition

I just got windows 7 up on my brand spanking new SSD. I konw that I want to get as many program caches off the SSD and on to a spinning drive.

I was wondering if it was possible to throw these caches onto a partition, then unmount the partition to effectively hide it from windows explorer. I suppose I could always just throw the caches onto a large partition and not worry about it, but this way seems somewhat cleaner...
