I usually use the manufacturer provided tools to "wipe" the SSD before reinstalling Windows. In OCZ's case, they suggest "wiper" and "hdderase" depending on which controller you have. That's good enough for me. Only way to securely erase data is to destroy the drive IMO. Anything else just causes unnecessary wear. |
